Tatiana Ananich (November 1985, Smolensk) -- Russian poet, essayist, the author of the book of poetry "Anti-Utopia".
She was born in Smolensk, Russia. As a high school student Ananich won several regional poetry competitions. She graduated All-Russian State Distance-Learning Institute of Finance and Economics in Smolensk.
T. Ananich emigrated to the USA in 2012. She lives in Los Angeles, Ca. Ananich was a student of Stella Adler Academy of Acting, Los Angeles. She has participated in various theater productions of classic and contemporary plays in English language.
In April of 2016 the U.S. publishing house "Liberty" published the first collection of poems by Tatiana Ananich, named "Anti-Utopia", consisting of three cycles, which include philosophical, social, spiritual and religious lyrics. The central themes of Ananich's poetry are existentional loneliness, hopelessness, absurdity of existence; these poems explore different social problems and problems of individual spiritual search. The religious lirycs are based on Ananich's travels and observation of Catholicism and Ortodox Christianity.
